The Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 15-5 are sponsoring the 1st Annual Shooting for Our Veterans shotgun shooting competition. All proceeds from the competition will be donated to the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association to assist veterans of all branches of service who are in need.
The event will be held Saturday, June 20 at the Old Hickory Rifle and Pistol Club in Bostic, N.C., which is in Rutherford County northeast of Forest City. Participants will be able to compete in 5-stand, trap, skeet, and wobble trap shooting competitions.
“I’m delighted our law office can support this event. As a lifelong sportsman, I’m looking forward to a day of friendly competition and comradery among veterans and those who support veterans for a good cause. I hope it will become an annual fundraiser,” said Jason Taylor

We are grateful to our many combat veterans for their service to our nation and it’s important to be mindful of the sacrifices they made.
Onsite registration will take place from 10:30 to noon at the shooting range. The $35 registration fee includes a box of shells, a goody bag, and lunch. A safety briefing will precede the competition which begins at 1 p.m.
Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and worst place.

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is a nonprofit organization with members from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. The CVA sponsors and/or participates in charity events to raise money for various veterans’ care facilities and veterans’ charities.
Chapter 15-5 of the CVAÂ is one of seven chapters in North Carolina, with membership from the Mooresville / Winston-Salem area, which includes Hickory.
