An 85-year-old woman was killed in a multi-vehicle wreck on Tuesday evening November 7 in Hickory. The collision occurred at roughly 6 p.m. along NC 127, at the 16th Avenue NW intersection.

A 2019 Audi A5, driven by 44-year-old William Robinson, from Hickory, was driving north on NC-127 when it collided with a 2013 Ford Fusion, driven by 64-year-old Janet Jordan, from Hickory.

A passenger of the Ford, 85-year-old Lona Stafford, from Hickory, was transported to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte where she passed away due to her injuries from the crash.
