A bicyclist who was riding 67 miles to celebrate his 67th birthday was killed in a crash in North Carolina. The accident was reported on Matthews Township Parkway, about 10 miles southeast of uptown Charlotte.
The victim, 67-year-old Bruce Alan Davis was known for being active, often running and doing CrossFit workouts but, his life was cut short after a bike ride on Sunday, October 22, the day he turned 67 years old. Davis was on his bike when he was involved in a collision with a vehicle. He was rushed to a hospital but passed away from crash-related injuries.
No one has been charged with the accident.
