A crash that occurred on Sunday, October 22nd  left one person dead. The victim was riding his bicycle when he was struck. The accident happened along WO Ezelle Boulevard in Spartanburg at roughly 1:30 p.m. The victim has been identified as 66-year-old Edward Woody.

The coroner said that Woody was pronounced dead after the bicycle he was riding on was hit by a car in the line of travel.
