A 20-year-old was killed in a hit-and-run in the Little River area Tuesday morning. One person has been arrested in the incident. The name of the person who was arrested is not yet available. The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 57, authorities said. It occurred in the parking lot of Tiger Mart. Crews were dispatched to the scene at roughly 7:18 a.m
The Horry County Coroner’s Office said 20-year-old Rudy Lopez of North Myrtle Beach died in the incident. His death has been ruled a homicide.
