One person passed away after a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of N Kerr Ave. and Farley Dr. on Wednesday afternoon September 27th.
74-year-old William Everett, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away later that day in the hospital. The passenger in his car is in critical condition at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center as of Thursday.
Everett was traveling on Farley Drive toward Kerr Avenue and failed to stop at the stop sign. Another vehicle collided with him, and then that car was struck by a pickup truck. The other drivers in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
