Two people have passed away and another is injured after a two-vehicle collision in the area of S. Highway 701 and Bucksville Drive. The crash occurred in the Conway area when Greg Duncan from Conway crossed the center line and crashed head-on into an oncoming vehicle. The vehicle he crashed into was driven by 16-year-old Simone Fignole, from Conway.
Fignole and a passenger in her vehicle were brought to the hospital where Fignole later passed away. Duncan also died in the crash. The condition of the passenger is unknown at this time. Horry County Fire Rescue crews were dispatched at 2:08 a.m. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
