Two people passed away and another person was injured after a major collision Tuesday evening on September 24th in Cumberland County. According to authorities, the two-vehicle wreck was reported at roughly 4:15 p.m. on McBryde Road just off E. Reeves Bridge Road.
An SUV appeared to have been hit on the driver’s side by a tan Ford pickup truck. The pickup truck was carrying two people, Randy Page and Michelle McMillin. They pulled from a stop sign onto East Reeves Bridge Road in Linden. At the same time, another pickup traveling down McBryde Street crashed into them.
Page and McMillin both died in the crash. The driver of the other vehicle, Jerry McLean II, was taken to the hospital to treat his injuries. Highway Patrol said McLean was speeding and driving without a license. He is facing traffic violations for both of those issues and has also been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
At The Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor, our hearts and prayers go out to the family, friends, and loved ones of both Randy and Michelle who suffered this tragic loss of life. We also extend our prayers to Jerry who is facing injuries and wish him a healthy recovery. We share our condolences for this devastating car accident.
