On Thanksgiving evening a two-vehicle collision left seven people injured. The incident occurred at roughly 9:15 p.m. on Prison Camp Road near Allen Williams Road in Martin County.
A passenger car traveling north on Prison Camp Road drove over the center line and crashed head-on into a passenger car that was traveling south. The driver and four passengers in the car heading south were taken to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that crossed the center line and one of their passengers was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A third person in the car was treated and released at the scene.
The investigation into this accident is ongoing.
