One person passed away and another person was injured after a crash involving a pickup truck and two SUVs. The crash occurred at about 6:15 a.m. in Kershaw County, on Tuesday, October 31.
A 2015 Dodge Ram pickup was driving north on U.S. 521 when it and a southbound 2013 Nissan SUV sideswiped each other. The pickup then crashed head-on with a 2015 Dodge SUV that was also driving south on U.S. 521. The Dodge SUV driver has been identified as 63-year-old Vivian Ann Quick. She passed away at the scene.
The pickup driver was injured and taken to Prisma Health Richland Hospital. Further information on his condition was not available. Neither the driver nor the passenger in the Nissan SUV were hurt, and no other injuries were reported.
Information about what caused the Dodge pickup and Nissan SUV to collide was not available but the incident remains under investigation.
