A pedestrian was struck and killed in Eden on Thursday night, December 7. The accident occurred on West Fieldcrest Road near Byrd Street. 22-year-old Noah Yeatts was driving west on West Fieldcrest Road before striking 41-year-old Kristina Jarrett who was attempting to cross north West Fieldcrest Road. Yeatts was unable to avoid hitting Jarrett. Jarrett was pronounced dead at the scene and Yeatts was not hurt.
