A bicyclist was struck and killed in Salisbury, prompting the road to close on Friday morning December 29. First responders received a call for a person lying on the side of the road at approximately 8 a.m. at the 3600 block of South Main Street in Salisbury.
They identified the person as 48-year-old Mark Edward Brotherton. The investigation determined he was struck by a Nissan Armada who was driving in the same direction he was biking in. All lanes of South Main Street were blocked during the investigation.
Police are looking for a 2008 to 2014 Nissan Armada, SUV style, which may have retained damage to the right headlight area.
At The Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor, our hearts and prayers go out to the family, friends, and loved ones of Mark who suffered this tragic loss of life. We share our condolences for this devastating bicycle accident.
