A fatal collision occurred on Saturday, January 20 at approximately 7 p.m. on Hwy 52 near Bonneau. A 2007 Toyota Camry and a 1987 Chevrolet S-10 collided. The driver of the Chevrolet died at the scene and was the sole occupant. The three occupants in the Camry were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the male victim as 41-year-old Corey Brown, of Pineville, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
