One person passed away after a three-car crash. The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. on Friday, December 15 at the intersection of New Walkertown Road and Northampton Drive. The collision involved a truck, a van, and a small SUV.
The truck’s driver was traveling northeast on New Walkertown Road. Meanwhile, the van’s driver was at the stop sign on Northampton Drive. The van was crossing New Walkertown Road when it hit the driver’s side of the truck. This caused the truck to run off the road hitting an SUV that was parked on the side of the road. The truck’s driver, 73-year-old Nathaniel Clemons died at the scene. There were no other injuries.
