Two people passed away in a collision involving a train and a car on Wednesday morning November 15. A car was on the tracks and hit by an Amtrak train. Two females, whose names and ages have not been released, were killed in the crash. The crash occurred on West Church Street in the Rowland community of Robeson County. West Church Street at South Railroad Avenue is closed for the time being. It is unclear now if the crossing arms were up or down.
