A collision on Interstate 77 North backed up traffic for several hours in Huntersville on Tuesday evening November 28. The crash happened at roughly  6:30 p.m. at mile marker 21. Four of the six northbound lanes, including toll lanes, were blocked.

Medic reported that two people were treated for minor injuries and transported to Atrium Health CMC. Traffic was backed up to I-485, Exit 19. The scene was cleared around 9:30 p.m.
